  • 2 cups (400g) granulated sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup (125g) all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup (90g) unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 12 chocolate ice cream cones
  • 2 cups (300g) powdered sugar
  • 1/4 cup (60ml) milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract (for frosting)
  • Green food coloring
  • Halloween-themed sprinkles

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Melt the unsalted butter and mix it with granulated sugar. Add eggs one at a time and stir in vanilla extract.
  2. In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, salt, and baking powder. Gradually combine dry ingredients with the wet mixture until just mixed.
  3. Pour batter into a greased 9×13 inch baking pan and bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Allow cooling completely on a wire rack.
  4. Frost cooled brownies with a mixture of powdered sugar, milk, vanilla extract, and green food coloring.
  5. Optionally dip ice cream cone tops in melted chocolate and sprinkles before placing them upside-down on each frosted brownie.
